We, at SUMPOORNA BASKETBALL SCHOOL, are going to call up ONE THOUSAND SCHOOLS in the next one or two months to know THE STATUS OF BASKETBALL IN SCHOOLS. The following is the format we are planning to ask about. Depending on their answers, we would pro-actively interact with them on a regular basis.
1. NAME AND ADDRESS OF THE SCHOOL
2. WHO IS THE CONTACT PERSON FOR BASKETBALL
3. DO YOU HAVE A BASKETBALL COURT - if, yes, then tell us what condition it is in
4. CAN YOU LIST OUT THE TOURNAMENTS YOU PARTICIPATE IN
5. DO YOU CONDUCT TOURNAMENTS OF YOUR OWN - APPROX dates and names of schools who
participate.
6. ANY OTHER INFORMATION YOU WANT TO GIVE?
7. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BASKETBALL COURT - WOULD YOU LIKE OUR EXPERTISE TO MAKE A
COURT WITHIN THE FUNDING AVAILABLE WITH YOU.
8. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MAKE A COURT - BUT WANT TO HAVE A SCHOOL TEAM.
The objective is to contact and net-work schools who are willings to share a larger platform for training programmes, tournaments and other basketball activities.
However, in the initial stages - we are going to call up schools from Bangalore and Tumkur Districts only. SCHOOLS from surrounding districts are welcome to send us the requisite information - and we shall interact with them - whenever it is possible.
On receipt of requisite information - we shall be inviting the contact persons for a personal briefing regarding how SUMPOORNA BASKETBALL SCHOOL would help further the cause of basketball promotion.
